Position Overview
Epic Nursing Services LLC is seeking a Workforce & Operations Manager to lead caregiver recruitment, workforce development, and operational support across our Adult Foster Care (AFC) and Group Adult Foster Care (GAFC) programs.
This role is critical to ensuring a strong caregiver pipeline, reducing missed visits, and supporting continued organizational growth. The ideal candidate is highly organized, results-driven, and experienced in both recruiting and healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified caregivers

Manage job postings, sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates

Coordinate onboarding and orientation processes

Build relationships with CNA schools, community organizations, and referral sources

Utilize ATS/CRM systems to track applicants and hiring metrics
Workforce Management & Retention

Maintain adequate caregiver coverage to support client needs

Monitor caregiver attendance, callouts, and reliability

Implement retention strategies and caregiver engagement initiatives

Build and manage a PRN/backup caregiver pool
Operations Support

Collaborate with scheduler, nurses, and case managers to ensure staffing coverage

Identify and resolve operational gaps impacting service delivery

Support onboarding compliance and staff documentation processes

Assist with workflow improvements and operational efficiency
Community Outreach & Business Development

Represent Epic Nursing Services at community and recruiting events

Build referral relationships with healthcare providers and community partners

Support growth initiatives through outreach and networking
Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or healthcare operations

Experience in home care, healthcare staffing, or human services preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience with ATS/HRIS systems preferred

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
